Second Amendment News:
Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) is sponsoring legislation---The National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2012--- that would allow citizens with a valid concealed weapons permit to carry in any state that has a concealed-carry law. Currently, West Virginia has concealed-carry reciprocity agreements with about 30 states. The bill is co-sponsored by Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska).

Gov. Dennis Daugaard of South Dakota vetoed a measure last week that would have allowed South Dakotans to carry concealed handguns without a permit as long as they had a driver's license and met specific state standards. The Governor said he supports the current concealed carry law that requires a permit. It must be noted since S.D. adopted its concealed carry law in the mid-1980's, it's crime index fell significantly even though the state experienced a 15% increase in population (Aberdeen News and Gun Reports).
"In the time Obama took office, gun sales have soared," according to Business Week. They added, "They are on track to surpass 15 million for the first time." They also reported Ruger's stock rose 400%, a better investment than gold.
